In short

  • Complaintr is in beta: it can change or be interrupted, and nothing is charged.
  • You keep ownership of your content; we use it only to provide the Service.
  • You are responsible for your account and for the applications and channels you connect.
  • AI replies can be wrong; check anything important before you act on it.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

1.Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Complaintr, including complaintr.com, the product app, the documentation, the embeddable widget, the API and MCP server, and the bots we run (together, the "Service"). If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" refers to that organization.

2.Definitions

Workspace owner:
a person or organization that creates an account and registers applications.
Application:
a product, service, or project a workspace owner registers to receive feedback for.
Reporter:
anyone who submits a complaint, feedback, or a survey answer about an application, with or without an account.
Content:
everything you or your users submit to the Service, including complaints, messages, survey questions and answers, and widget articles.
Complaintr Core:
the AI assistant that runs conversations in the Service.

3.The Service

Complaintr collects feedback and complaints from people and AI agents across the channels you connect, turns each one into a structured report, and gives you one workspace to review and resolve them. Complaintr Core runs the conversations and can answer questions about your own workspace.

4.Beta

Complaintr is in beta. Features, limits, and behavior can change, and the Service can be interrupted, without notice. Do not rely on it for production, customer-critical, or business-critical work, and do not keep your only copy of important data in it. We offer no uptime or support commitment during the beta.

5.Eligibility and accounts

You need an account to register applications and use the workspace. You can sign in with Google, GitHub, an email and password, or a passkey. You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You agree to:

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date
  • Keep your sign-in details secure and not share them
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
  • Take responsibility for everything done under your account

6.Your applications and channels

You are responsible for the applications you register and the channels you connect. You confirm that:

  • You have the right to collect feedback for each application you register
  • You are allowed to install Complaintr on the websites, repositories, and workspaces you connect
  • You inform your own users, as the law requires, that their feedback is collected and processed through Complaintr, and you have a legal basis for that processing
  • You follow the terms of the platforms you connect, such as Telegram, Slack, GitHub, and Instagram

For the personal data of your reporters, you are the data controller and Complaintr is your data processor, as described in the Privacy Policy. Application names are unique across Complaintr. We may reclaim or rename an application whose name is misleading or infringes someone else's rights.

7.Submitting complaints

Anyone can submit a complaint or answer a survey without an account. If you do, you confirm that what you send is honest and yours to share, and you accept that it is shown to the owner of the application it concerns. Do not include passwords, payment details, or other people's personal data.

A complaint can be turned into a public card when a share link is requested. The card shows only the application, title, description, source, date, and status, and sharing can be turned off again at any time.

8.The AI assistant

Complaintr Core produces its replies with AI models, and they can be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional advice. Check anything important before you act on it. The assistant asks for your approval before it changes data in your workspace, and you are responsible for the changes you approve. AI features are subject to the usage limits of your plan.

9.Surveys

When you create a survey, you are responsible for having the right to contact the people you list and for how you send them their personal links. Complaintr does not send survey emails on your behalf.

10.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, defame, or harm others
  • Submit false, misleading, or spam complaints
  • Try to manipulate the assistant, extract its instructions, or get around its safeguards
  • Access data that is not yours, or probe, scan, or test the Service without permission
  • Get around rate limits, plan limits, or other technical restrictions
  • Disrupt the Service, or send malware or other harmful code through it
  • Copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it

11.Plans and fees

During the beta, plans are assigned by the Complaintr team and nothing is charged. Each plan sets limits, such as the number of applications and a monthly AI budget. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and the applicable terms before you are charged, and you will be able to choose whether to continue.

12.Your content

You keep ownership of the content you and your users submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the Service, which includes sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. The license ends when the content is deleted from the Service.

If you send us ideas or suggestions about Complaintr, we may use them without obligation to you.

13.Unlawful content and removal requests

Content in the Service is created by its users. Complaintr hosts it and does not review it before it is submitted. Under Turkish Law No. 5651, we act as a hosting provider for this content.

If you believe that content in the Service, such as a public share card, violates your rights or the law, write to us at the address in the last section with the link to the content, your name and contact details, and the reason for your request. We review each request and remove or disable content that is unlawful, and we comply with the decisions of competent courts and authorities.

14.Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and logos, belongs to Complaintr and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service, not ownership of any part of it.

15.Third-party services

The Service connects to platforms that we do not control, such as Google, GitHub, Telegram, Slack, and Instagram. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

16.Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Please read it together with these Terms.

17.Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if your use puts the Service or others at risk, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we tell you beforehand.

When an account ends, its applications and their complaints are deleted. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on intellectual property, liability, and governing law, remain in effect.

18.Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every complaint will be delivered, classified correctly, or resolved.

19.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Complaintr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer.

20.Indemnity

If you use the Service for a business, you agree to compensate Complaintr for third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs that arise from your content, your applications, or your breach of these Terms. This section does not apply to consumers.

21.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or the law changes. When we do, we revise the date at the top of this page, and we may notify account holders about significant changes. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.

22.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not affect the mandatory rights you have under consumer protection law, including the right to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where you live.

23.General provisions

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Complaintr about the Service. If a provision is found invalid, the rest remain in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

These Terms are published in Turkish and English. If the two versions differ, the Turkish version prevails.
